Thank you for offering your time to Norfolk Blood Bikes. Whether you want to become a volunteer rider, driver or controller, you will be playing an important role in saving lives around Norfolk.
Our new application process enables all potential members to complete their required Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as the first part of their application process.
Potential applicants are therefore requested to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org containing their full given names, date of birth, postcode and the role they are interested in undertaking (rider, driver or controller are the main roles, but others are available).
If the applicant holds an advanced riding qualification from the IAM, RoSPA or Police (Class 1), (re)issued within the past three years, they are also requested to indicate this fact.
The membership manager will then check the location of the applicant for suitable integration into one of our existing riding/driving groups. This is mainly due to the requirements of our hospitals that we are able to respond to within a set time period. Once a prospective location is verified as suitable for the applicant, more information on our charity and the application process will be sent.
